My passion for women’s health, sparked many years ago when I decided to embark on my midwifery journey at the young age of 18! I completed my Bachelor of Midwifery straight from school, and fell in love with supporting women through, pregnancy, birth and breastfeeding. I have always been amazed at how incredible women’s body’s are. I began my journey as a Midwife, working in the public maternity system, with experience in all areas of maternity care and working in Midwifery Group Practise model (MGP). I then ventured into the world of private home birth care, and worked along side local private midwife for 12 months attending home births as the second midwife in 2022. I am incredibly passionate about supporting women to birth at home, and will be providing private midwifery services in 2025. As a lactation consultant, my hope is to empower more mothers by providing the right education and support during their transition to Motherhood and breastfeeding. I provide warm and caring women-centered care, when you may need guidance, advice, or reassurance on your breastfeeding journey. I approach each Mother-baby dyad in respect to your unique needs and preferences. I have a special interest in babies with oral restrictions/ tongue ties, and families getting the right assessment and treatment to support the longevity of their breastfeeding journey. If you have concerns about your baby having a tongue tie, reach out for an appointment today.
